They already Kickstarted their Baking Steel appliance that will help home cooks to attain the perfect, restaurant-caliber, crispy, crust texture. To create this you also need to have the perfect dough, 72-hour pizza dough. Unfortunately they only ship within the USA but in this article a great tip for authentic Italian pizza restaurants outside the USA…

72-hour pizza dough

To make the perfect pizza dough at home you need a bit of patience, the perfect dough made with a minimal amount of yeast needs a long fermentation time! But dough made this way is so much easier to digest than most commercially made doughs and pizza’s. Well the fermentation is one of the biggest problems to make dough at home, 72-hour pizza dough is kickstarting their dough to facilitate the true pizza fans!

The dough from 72-hour pizza dough is made using only organic ingredients. This dough recipe is the result of much experimentation, trial/error, and many, many pounds of flour. An extended ferment time of 72 hours allows for optimum flavor and texture, yielding a great crust especially if made on a Baking Steel. When you order, you’ll receive 8 perfect portions of pizza dough, delivered at their peak texture and flavor. The dough is shipped frozen and needs to be used within 30 days. The dough can also be used for homemade tomato focaccia, Grissini bread sticks, Ciabatta or Stromboli.
