Scent photo printer

15-8-2012

Zhu Jingzuan, student Fashion & Art Design, has developed a scent photo printer for the annual Student Design Workshop of Sony China. The Dongua University student received the “Most Fun” award for her creation. The food scent duplicator has three core elements; a camera, printer and aroma sensor. This ‘nose’ analyzes the scent and picks the closest aroma-ink to add to the photo. Sony finds the idea very interesting but doesn’t think to have a the prototype in production any time soon.
