Panda Express®, the largest family-owned Asian dining brand in the U.S., is launching ‘Pandaoke’, a fun, one-of-a-kind karaoke experience in four cities during May and June, just in time for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Pandaoke | 30-second performances of feel-good songs as keepsakes
Inspired by Panda’s new brand campaign, “Have You Eaten Yet?”, ‘Pandaoke’ celebrates how food and music connect people. Select Panda Express locations will be transformed into lively karaoke hubs featuring a 7-foot-tall takeout box booth. Inside, groups of 2–3 can record 30-second performances of feel-good songs, which are instantly emailed as keepsakes.
“At Panda, we often ask a simple question: ‘Have you eaten yet?’—a phrase that shows care across cultures,” said Andrea Cherng, Chief Brand Officer of Panda Express. “With Pandaoke, we’re bringing that spirit of comfort and connection to life through food and music.”
‘Pandaoke’ will visit:
- May 9–11: Los Angeles, CA – 2828 S Figueroa St
- May 23–25: Nashville, TN – 6601 Charlotte Pike
- May 30–June 1: Chicago, IL – 2949 W Addison St
- June 6–8: Austin, TX – 5764 Airport Blvd
Each location will host ‘Pandaoke’ daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
During the event, customers who order a Panda Family Meal can receive an exclusive Pandaoke Kit (while supplies last). More details and conditions can be found in their press release.
