And this title is true! Our colleagues who had already tasted it at festivals were jealous of the colleague, a real meat lover, who got to taste it at the opening! She now has Karma Kebab cravings as well!

Maybe you already knew them from one of the many festivals (Lowlands, Mistery Land, Into the Great Wide Open) where they satisfied your kebab cravings. Because entirely made from grain and celeriac, Karma Kebab still makes even the hardcore carnivore salivate. Now it is time for the next step for the successful, plant-based kebab brand: thanks to initiators Pascal Labrie, Marcel van der Heijden, Hidde Stolwijk and Ivo van der Pauw, the former bicycle depot on the Kanaalweg in Utrecht will be given a new lease of life.

Sushi, by now a product eaten with some regularity by young and old people. Everyone has at least one type of sushi that they like. There are now countless restaurants where you can eat sushi, in all shapes, sizes and formats. We did some research on the most original ideas for sushi!

Opening – Sapphire House Antwerp, the long awaited Marriott hotel in Antwerp, opened its doors this week. The five star hotel is the first hotel in the world that is completely plant-based, and where two star chef Bart De Pooter spoils the guests of the hotel with a culinary experience. Restaurant ShakShuk in Amsterdam made a special dish for Earth Day

Especially for Earth Day (April 22), ShakShuk, a shakshuka restaurant on the Zuidas  in Amsterdam, developed a new dish in collaboration with Beyond Meat: Spicy Beyond Merguez. The spicy sausages in this dish are normally made from animal meat, but ShakShuk replaced them with sustainable, plant-based Beyond Sausage. The new dish will be launched with a special promotion on Earth Day and will remain on the menu for a month.

Spicy Beyond Merguez is being introduced with a special promotion: ShakShuk is offering 100 dishes for free on April 22 to celebrate Earth Day. Restaurant-goers can make reservations for this through ShakShuk.
