Restaurant ShakShuk in Amsterdam made a special dish for Earth Day

Especially for Earth Day (April 22), ShakShuk, a shakshuka restaurant on the Zuidas  in Amsterdam, developed a new dish in collaboration with Beyond Meat: Spicy Beyond Merguez. The spicy sausages in this dish are normally made from animal meat, but ShakShuk replaced them with sustainable, plant-based Beyond Sausage. The new dish will be launched with a special promotion on Earth Day and will remain on the menu for a month.

Spicy Beyond Merguez is being introduced with a special promotion: ShakShuk is offering 100 dishes for free on April 22 to celebrate Earth Day. Restaurant-goers can make reservations for this through ShakShuk.

Life Fire Cooking’ at restaurant Nela in Valley Amsterdam

In this new hospitality formula of the internationally renowned chefs Hari Shetty and Ori Geller, they have chosen ‘Life Fire Cooking’. The name Nela means pure and this is exactly what the two chefs want to reflect in all aspects of their restaurant. Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Center | Brand transformation revealed

Over the past year the hotel has been through a major renovation to create a new environment that creates an intuitive and holistic experience with places for people to connect, be productive and feel part of a community. On 16 March, we enjoyed a tour of the hotel – with fun details for meetings such as origami plane folding and binoculars in the suites for spotting planes. And we enjoyed tasting some delicacies of what is served from Commune Restaurant, The Gate Bar & Stripes Restaurant. To celebrate the transformation of the hotel, Sheraton Amsterdam Airport created a special opening offer to experience the renovated Sheraton guestroom, including access to the Sheraton Club and a welcome drink in Commune.

This festive December month, hotel Pulitzer Amsterdam – located in 25 connected 17th and 18th century canal houses – has teamed up with renowned Danish fashion designer Claes Iversen to design a spectacular couture Christmas tree in their Winter Garden 2021. We have written about the idea behind the collaboration and now it turned out to be one of the largest outdoor Christmas trees in Amsterdam.

We think the design turned out really beautiful! We can completely imagine ourselves enjoying a warm drink in this Winter Garden at the Pulitzer Amsterdam, with dry weather and a thick coat or blanket of course. And if you take a walk through Amsterdam and enjoy the Amsterdam Light Festival, it is of course a nice stop for a hot drink and to warm up under the covers and the heaters in this Winter Garden.
