Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts celebrates 10 years of ‘Kilo of Kindness’
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts proudly celebrates the tenth edition of its global charity initiative, ‘Kilo of Kindness’, which has been supporting people and local communities since 2015. Until 14 November 2025, more than 70 Mövenpick hotels across nearly 30 countries will join forces to collect food, clothing, school supplies, and other essential items for local charities. Guests, employees, known within Accor as Heartists®*, and neighbours are all invited to take part.

One kilo can make a difference
What began with the simple idea that one kilo can make a difference has grown into a global movement. Over the past decade, more than 100,000 kilos of donations have been collected, supporting hundreds of NGOs and reaching communities around the world. This milestone represents thousands of acts of compassion and solidarity.
According to Benoît Racle, Global Brand President Premium at Accor, ten years of Kilo of Kindness is “a celebration of what can be achieved when generosity becomes a shared purpose.” For Mövenpick, hospitality is not just about a warm welcome, but also about making a positive impact on the world. To mark the anniversary, Mövenpick is sharing ten inspiring stories from its hotels around the world — from educational support to food and clothing drives — showcasing how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
The 2025 edition coincides with World Kindness Week, reinforcing Mövenpick’s mission to foster genuine connections and positive change. As the initiative enters its second decade, the brand aims to deepen the spirit of generosity and inspire even more people to get involved.
Join Kilo of Kindness
From 13 October to 14 November 2025, guests and local residents can bring donations to the nearest Mövenpick hotel lobby. All collected items will be delivered directly to local charity partners, ensuring that the impact is felt within each community.
