Long Story Short is a new hostel in Czech Republic, but it is hard to tell that it is a hostel. The industrial look and original design give the hostel a modern an exclusive appearance. Nevertheless, is it possible to have a relatively low priced overnight stay in a dorm or private room. A perfect example of the current trend in the hostel industry where luxury is getting a higher priority.

Poshtels

The image of ‘20 smelly men in one room’ is already long gone at many hostels. Often, hostels are well maintained and give guests the choice of booking a private room. Some hostels are one step ahead and are comparable with hotels. De Generator hostels are a great example, together with the King Kong hostel in Rotterdam or the Ecomama and Cocomama in Amsterdam. They show that hostels slowly transform in poshtels (chique hostels).

Long Story Short

Prices at the hostel Long Story Short vary from € 10,- for a bed in a dorm up to € 110,- for a private room. Regardless the room that you choose, you get true value for your money. The rooms as well as the communal dorm are modern and designed.

The Hostel is located in an old fort which is brought to life with this new concept. Besides the hostel, they designed a co-work area and it’s possible to rent space for parties and drinks. Look at their website to get an impression.
