Health and fastfood are two words that rarely appears together. NBA player Ray Allen felt like this needed to change, and opened his own healthy fast-food business. Grown, which is the name of the restaurant, can be found in Miami and looks good.

Grown

We don’t see it every day. A new healthy fast-food company in the USA, the land of hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza’s and fried chicken. The menu of Grown includes fruit smoothies, salads with salmon, gluten free pancakes and wraps. Made on a daily basis with fresh ingredients.

The company opened two months ago and Ray Allen and his wife already have plans for two new locations. Currently, more than 1.000 guests a day visit the restaurant which exceeds all their expectations. The decisions to build a drive-through near one of the busiest roads in South Florida was quite clever.

Check out the pictures and let us know what you think. Are the Americans ready for more healthy fast-food concepts?
