Food start-up GREENFORCE launches a B2B platform for the hospitality industry
Food start-up GREENFORCE is launching a B2B platform this month to serve the hospitality industry in the Netherlands with its vegetable powder mixes in bulk packaging. With this development, they are responding to the demand from restaurant guests for more vegetable options on the menu. GREENFORCE offers the catering industry the opportunity to experiment with vegetable powder mixes. The sustainable mixes have a long shelf life, are packed with protein and are easy to customise: with the bulk mixes, restaurants can easily put a vegetable burger or meatball with their own twist on the menu. On the platform, restaurants and caterers can order the bulk mixes in burger, minced meat, meatball, egg, schnitzel and smear.

B2B platform for the catering industry | More product, less waste
With the introduction of the B2B platform, GREENFORCE is working hard to achieve their ambition: to become the market leader in vegetable alternatives within Europe. Several prominent investors have already shown their belief in the start-up, including professional footballer Thomas Müller and German TV presenter Joko Winterscheidt. On the B2B platform, GREENFORCE offers a selection from their consumer range in low-cost bulk packaging: the Easy Mix Hamburger, Easy Mix Meatball, Easy Mix Mince, Easy Mix Egg, Easy Mix Bratwurst and Easy Mix Schnitzel. The powder mixes have a long shelf life and you decide how much you use, so food waste can easily be avoided. The bulk packaging for minced meat, meatballs and burgers is available per one or four bags and contains 2 kg per bag. The Easy Mix Egg is available in one or eight bags and contains 1 kg per bag. The content of one bag results in 6 kg of finished product. The B2B packaging for the schnitzel and the spread sausage contain 500 gr, result in 1,5 kg and 2,25 kg of end product and can only be ordered separately. The various bulk packs are only available via the GREENFORCE B2B platform.
GREENFORCE powder mixes |Classic, Italian or with an Indian twist
The powder mixes not only help reduce food waste, but also make it fun to vary ingredients and flavours for a plant-based alternative. Restaurants can easily make their own signature burger from the plant-based burger mix. Besides a classic with pickle, tomato and ketchup, you can also vary with a special with garam masala herbs or (vegan) mozzarella and basil. At restaurant Boes en Beis in Amsterdam, the GREENFORCE burger has been on the menu for some time, owner Rob says: “In every restaurant kitchen, tasty dishes are prepared at the assembly line, preferably as quickly as possible. A vegetarian burger is sometimes difficult because we buy too many or have to make them ourselves. With the powder mixes, preparing a vegetarian burger is easy and fun for us: because the powders can be kept for such a long time, we decide how many burgers we make and what extra touch we add on a daily basis. And the customers lick their fingers!”
