The first ‘KitKat Chocolatery’ in the Netherlands has opened on the 30th of November at Utrecht Central Station. In the pop-up store you can make your own KitKat bar, or as their slogan says ‘Create your own break’, until December 23rd. There are a number of KitKat Chocolatery stores in Japan, England, Malaysia and Australia.

Create your own KitKat bar | At the KitKat Chocolatory

You start making your own candy bar by choosing from three chocolate flavors; milk, pure or white,  after that you finish it with three toppings. You can choose from fifteen ingredients. You wait 30 minutes or you have 3 days to pick it up. You can also choose the packaging (six different designs) and place a message on the packaging (different break texts such as, Happy Holidays break). There are also special editions for sale such as ‘The Dutch’ with our famous stroopwafels (caramel cookies), pepernoten (our delicacy for the Dutch Sinterklaas) and caramel flavor. We do not need to explain the special edition ‘So Nutty’ but we are very curious about the ‘Sweet Roses’ and the ‘Movie Time’.

Since this year, all chocolate products Nestlé Netherlands has been certified 100% sustainable according to the Nestlé Cocoa Plan and this also applies to this ‘Create your break’.
