CO2 algae-lamp

10-6-2010

Mike Thompson discovered that some algae produce electricity during photosynthesis. He has designed an algae-lamp. A small battery stores energy and uses it to generate light. The result is a kind of lava lamp, but environmentally friendly. In order to stimulate photosynthesis just add water, and occasionally blow in some CO2. Offcourse the algae themselves have to be in the lamp.
