The Ark | Partying at festival on a luxury cruise ship

By the end of August the first edition of the The Ark Festival will take place. The special feature of this multi-day festival is that the party isn’t at a normal festival ground but on ‘The Freedom of The Seas’, a luxury cruise ship. The tour starts and ends in Barcelona after visiting Ibiza and Marseille. It seems that the festivalgoer loves special occasions and locations. We spotted festivals at bungalow parks, thermal baths and of course the fitness festivals.

When we drive through Belgium and see the exit to the city of Sint-Niklaas, I always think of our Dutch version of Santa Claus, Sinterklaas. Actually, it’s just logical thinking to let the modern version of Sinterklaas originate from this town, don’t you think? Chocolatier Wim Vyverman of the Chocolate-Atelier Vyverman in Sint-Niklaas currently started selling chocolate, including special treats for Sinterklaas, in a chocolate vending machine in the lobby of Hotel Serwir.

Famous sitcoms are opening a pop-up version of their restaurant into real live. On November 25th, Gilmore Girls is returning with a four-episode limited run on Netflix. Netflix sponsored a one-day pop-up of the show’s Luke’s Diner. All across America about 200 coffee shops and cafes where transformed to this diner, all to promote Gilmore Girls: ‘A Year in the Life’. lees verder
