Adam, Jackie and Joseph Sopher, the family behind the popcorn brand, have been hard at work in their London kitchen with their team of pastry chefs, creating the latest additions to their alcoholic Cocktail Range – Irish Coffee Liqueur with White Chocolate Caramel and Espresso Martini. On December 13, six people will board the train of rail operator VR to travel from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. The trip will last 13-hour, so the players will play an actual escape room game that will last 1000 km!

First KiKat Chocolatory in the Netherlands | At Utrecht Central Station

The first ‘KitKat Chocolatery’ in the Netherlands has opened on the 30th of November at Utrecht Central Station. In the pop-up store you can make your own KitKat bar, or as their slogan says ‘Create your own break’, until December 23rd. There are a number of KitKat Chocolatery stores in Japan, England, Malaysia and Australia.
Some Christmas inspiration | Serve a cocktail in a Christmas ornament

Last month we wrote about the Christmas ornaments from The Lakes Distillery. They give the Christmas tree an alcoholic touch with Whiskey Christmas ornaments, or Christmas ornaments filled with The Lakes Vodka or The Lakes Gin. We already suggested that it is quite a nice idea to serve a cocktail in a Christmas ornament. Last weekend I had my first ‘Christmas dinner’ with friends and based on the Christmas ornaments from The Lakes Distillery, I also filled a small Christmas ornament with a Christmas cocktail, wrapped it in a gift box and served with the starter. Simple and tasty!

Claridge’s, London’s legendary Mayfair hotel has unveiled the Claridge’s Christmas Tree 2017 in the hotel lobby, designed by Karl Lagerfeld, widely regarded as one of the fashion world’s most influential creative forces. This year’s Claridge’s festive installation is inspired by Lagerfeld’s childhood memories of Christmas with a series of inverted spruce Christmas Trees placed around the hotel lobby. The centrepiece is a sixteen foot high inverted tree with silver gilded roots topped with a multi-facetted mirrored star which reflects rays of magical light across the art deco lobby. Fazer Cricket Bread | Finnish bakery launches ‘crunchy’ insect bread

Since the 24th of November you can buy cricket bread in Finland. One of Finland’s largest food companies, Fazer is selling this crunchy cricket bread. According to Markus Hellstrom, head of the Fazer group’s bakery division, one loaf of bread contains about 70 dried crickets. The crickets are grounded into powder and added to the flour.

The Christmas trees by Starbucks Valencia | Christmas inspiration

The season is about to begin and as from today we will try to inspire you every day with Christmassy inspiration from other entrepreneurs in hospitality. The first one: Starbucks in Valencia is decorating their trees with sparkling red cups.
