Small, everyday choices as the basis for ‘Longevity Everyday’
Since 1967, Novotel has focused on travellers who combine work, leisure and private life. That philosophy now forms the basis of ‘Longevity Everyday’: small, everyday choices with long-term effects. ‘We believe that a longer and healthier life starts with simple, repeatable habits,’ says Jean-Yves Minet, Global Brand President of Novotel.
The four pillars of ‘Longevity Everyday’ translated into concrete actions
- Sleep: new, sustainably designed beds are being rolled out worldwide with mattresses and bedding certified according to OEKO-TEX® and NF Environnement, aimed at optimal recovery.
- Food: from April 2026, menus will contain at least 25% plant-based dishes co-developed by food creator Alfie Steiner. For fish and seafood, Novotel applies Sustainable Seafood Principles in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund.
- Exercise: fitness facilities and swimming pools in 70% of hotels, combined with accessible workouts and energy management in collaboration with Olympic champion Kauli Vaast and Paris Saint-Germain.
- Meetings: redesigned meetings and events with a focus on energy, social interaction and healthy eating. For families, the focus is on shared experiences and educational initiatives around nature and sustainability.
Well-being and sustainability are inseparable to ‘Longevity Everyday’
Sustainability is an integral part of the initiative, with ocean protection and responsible food chains at its core. Personal health and planetary health are connected.

Novotel 37 Collective
Part of the strategy is the ‘Novotel 37 Collective’, an international network of experts in sports, nutrition, well-being and creativity who share practical insights on small daily improvements through content and activations.
Responding to changing travel needs
‘Longevity Everyday’ ties in with hybrid working, wellness tourism and the growing need for balance. ‘It’s about progress, step by step,’ says Minet. The goal is healthier people, stronger communities and a more sustainable future.
