Sustainable food at the Nederlands Fotomuseum thanks to caterer Qeet

On February 7th 2026, the ‘Nederlands Fotomuseum’ will open its doors in the newly renovated national heritage warehouse Pakhuis Santos at Rotterdam’s Rijnhaven. With more than 6.5 million objects, the museum holds one of the largest photography collections in the world. In this monumental building, cultural heritage, architecture, and contemporary museum presentation come together to create an international meeting place for photography. The Dutch Fotomuseum has chosen the caterer Qeet to operate the coffee bar, the restaurant, and the event venue. Qeet provides catering for various events, from conferences and drinks parties to weddings and festivals, with a strong focus on sustainability and local products. They develop fresh, healthy and seasonal dishes with products from the region.

A warm Sinterklaas celebration thanks to the efforts of hotels

In the run-up to the Sinterklaas (Dutch Santa Claus) celebrations, employees of International Hotel Capital Partners (IHCP) hotels are organizing a collection campaign for families in financial difficulty. Through the Sintvoorieder1 initiative, toys are collected and distributed to families living in poverty in the regions where the hotels are located. What started as a small initiative at the Renaissance Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel has developed into a project that is now embraced by all six IHCP hotels. From 10 to 28 November, hotel employees can drop off toys at designated collection points in their hotels.

Aesthetic jello-o cocktails

Cocktails exude allure, but these are truly special! They are made by Solid Wiggles, a company located in Brooklyn. Since 2022, pastry chef Jena Derman and mixologist Jack Schramm have been giving a new, creative twist to the nostalgic jello-o shots. Very creative and we love to taste them!

Shower Hour IPA and Laundry Club Kölsch | Beer made from recycled shower and laundry water

Epic Cleantec, a leader in onsite water reuse for real estate, has launched a commercial beer made with highly purified recycled water from showers and laundry. Developed with Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company in San Carlos, California, the beer uses water sourced from buildings where Epic operates its advanced reuse systems. The company first introduced OneWater Brew in November 2022 as a limited experimental batch of 7,500 cans. Despite its small scale, the beer gained widespread attention and recognition, including being named a TIME Best Invention and a Fast Company World Changing Idea. This new release of Shower Hour IPA and Laundry Club Kölsch, moves the concept from a pilot project to full-scale commercial production.
