The Dutch Hanna Verweij (26) and Amanda Maandag (25) just started a delightful company in Cape Town to spread love through heart shaped ‘stroopwafels’ (treacle-waffles). The ladies conquer the city at a dazzling pace with their slogan ‘The world always needs more love’ and their positive mindset. The ultimate goal? To travel the world with a pink camper to spread their lovely creation throughout the world.

For the second time, Breda will be the hosting city of the event Burgundian Breda, which will be held in the Grote Kerk (a church) in Breda. Surprising dishes will be served by companies and top-restaurants. This convention is especially focused on business people, but consumers are welcome as well.

On to the 5th dimension. On this coming 21st of December, the earth, sun and planets face each other which indicates the beginning of a new era of the Aquarius. Ancient nations predicted great changes on and after this day. This new era will be dominated by awareness, unselfishness and tolerance. In honor of the wende this new sustainable cultural event will be organized on this date at the Westergas terrain in Amsterdam. Several workshops, lectures and shows about small changes which can lead to the greater change, will be shown. At night a big party will be organized.

In 2010, initiators John Burgess, Peter Newton and Rochelle Schwartz started to produce cider made of unused apples (and pears). This unused fruit comes from the many apple trees in the suburban of London, which caused ruined laws and attracted wasps. They started to collect this fruit to produce cider. Consumers who delivered the apples, receive the cider and a discount on more bottles.
