HEINZ and Smoothie King have teamed up to answer the playful cultural question: if tomatoes are a fruit, is ketchup a smoothie? Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smoothie

Launching at the height of tomato season, the smoothie is available from August 6th at select Smoothie King locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Miami, Greater New York, and Northern New Jersey, priced at $5.70 while supplies last.

The recipe pairs Acai sorbet, apple juice, strawberries, and raspberries with HEINZ Simply Tomato Ketchup, known for its natural ingredients and signature sweet-and-tangy flavor. The result, according to both brands, is a balanced smoothie with a distinctive ketchup finish—an unusual twist designed to intrigue both smoothie enthusiasts and ketchup fans.
