We often write about collaborations involving Christmas decorations in hotels, particularly the iconic Christmas trees at Claridge’s and, recently, ‘The Jewel of the Season’ at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London. But Amsterdam also has several luxury hotels with remarkable festive decorations,  including the Conservatorium Hotel. This year, the impressive 4.5-metre Christmas tree in the lobby has been decorated by the Italian jewelry house Pasquale Bruni. Following a successful collaboration with Cartier last year, the hotel is once again presenting a dazzling Christmas tree this season. The additional details, such as the festive atmosphere created around the violins at the entrance, are also wonderful to see and experience. We often stop by ourselves to soak up the ambiance, enjoying a cocktail, a glass of wine, or a meal at Barbounia.

Conservatorium Hotel | Luxury in the heart of Amsterdam

Founded in 2011, the Conservatorium Hotel is an iconic luxury destination in Amsterdam’s cultural heart, where stays, gastronomy, wellness, and curated retail experiences seamlessly converge. Within the elegant Van Baerle Shopping Gallery, visitors can explore exclusive boutiques, including the historic jeweler Bonebakker, established in 1792 and the oldest in the Netherlands. The brand is celebrated for its craftsmanship and heritage, from creating the Dutch royal crown to the city keys presented to Napoleon in 1806. Exceptional Bonebakker pieces are now on display at the Rijksmuseum, while the hotel boutique features a carefully curated selection of international top brands, including the Italian jewelry house Pasquale Bruni.

Pasquale Bruni | Timeless elegance and craftsmanship

Founded in 1997 in Valenza, Italy, Pasquale Bruni is renowned for jewelry that combines creativity, savoir-faire, and timeless elegance. Its refined designs grace prestigious red carpets such as the Met Gala and Cannes Film Festival, worn by stars including Naomi Campbell, Eva Longoria, and Kim Kardashian. The Bonebakker boutique in the hotel is one of only two exclusive Pasquale Bruni sale points in the Netherlands.

Details about the sparkling Christmas tree

During the holiday season, Conservatorium Hotel and Pasquale Bruni bring their aesthetics together in an exclusive Christmas collaboration. The centerpiece is a 4.5-meter couture-inspired Christmas tree in the hotel’s atmospheric lobby, known as the Living Room of Amsterdam. Velvet flowers in red and pale pink, golden accents, sparkling lights, and elegant ribbons reference Pasquale Bruni’s Giardini Segreti collection, symbolizing the transformation of leaves and flowers and celebrating feminine strength and grace. The secret gardens of Milan, where art and emotion meet, served as inspiration.

Continuing a Festive Tradition

Following a successful collaboration with Cartier last year, this marks the second time the hotel celebrates the holidays with a prestigious jewelry house. The tree was unveiled on November 21, 2025, during an exclusive black-tie event, the first time Pasquale Bruni designed a Christmas tree with an external partner. Visitors and hotel guests can admire the design until January 12, 2026, in the hotel atrium.
