Participating companies provide catering posts next to the stamp posts, which are along the route, and a terrace which is placed on ice. Participating in the skating event is free.

Designer Sean Click came up with the ‘sead bomb’ for MC Donald’s. Eschscholzia californica (the state flower of California) is according to the law illegal to remove, so MC Donald’s placed flowers in the shape of their logo in landfields. Because the removal of these flowers is illegal, land owners have to leave them there or plant around the logo so it isn’t visible.
Joseph Company International is planning to launch, end March/begin April in the US, a self-cooling soda can. On the bottom of the Chill Can a button is located, once you press the button the can cools off. The can remains cool 30 minutes longer than a normal can does. Earlier we wrote about the Hot Booster, a selfheating soup.
Pink or Red Velvet chocolate milk is a fun idea for Valentine’s Day! For two glasses, mix milk with chocolate chips in a pan. Add 2/3 drops of red food coloring for red velvet chocolate milk and add two tablespoons of strawberry syrup for pink chocolate milk. To complete the look add some whipped cream.
Eat Me is a book with a collection of special art products, brands, people and goods within the world of food. Not only interesting packaging of food, but also by-products such as tools, kitchen and menu design are in the book. There is also a special section in the book with a round-the-world-tour of the newest and most innovative cafes, bars, restaurants and shows. The book is available at the U.S. Book Store.
British design studio Black+Blum designed a bottle that filters tap water, Eau Good. The design is based on an old Japanese filter system with the help of carbon filters. These filters reduce chlorine and chemicals and add minerals to the water to keep the pH balanced. The active carbon filter lasts up to 6 months.
