BlueBlood Restaurant is the first Dutch restaurant to be awarded the official ‘Authentic Peruvian Cuisine’ Certification, a prestigious recognition endorsed by Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL), one of Peru’s most renowned culinary institutions, and Marca País, the national symbol of Peruvian identity and culture. They will celebrate this certification with a special Peruvian Food Festival on November 2nd.

Authentic Peruvian Cuisine

This certification is granted to select restaurants around the world that preserve and promote Peruvian gastronomy through authentic ingredients, traditional techniques, and respect for Peru’s rich culinary heritage. It represents not only culinary excellence but also a commitment to cultural authenticity and innovation.

Chef de Cuisine Luis Rojas, born and raised in Peru, has been the creative force behind BlueBlood’s Latin-American inspired dishes. His expertise bridges the flavors of traditional Peruvian and Nikkei cuisine, a unique culinary fusion that combines Peruvian ingredients with Japanese influences.

“I am deeply proud to receive the Auténtica Cocina Peruana certification, ” says Chef Luis Rojas. “For me, cooking authentic food isn’t just about technique, it’s about sharing the flavors and stories of Peru with the world. Every dish I create is an invitation to experience my country’s vibrant cuisine.”

To celebrate this milestone, BlueBlood is hosting a special Peruvian Food Festival Brunch on Sunday, November 2nd.
