Stronger emphasis on education at RHUM FEST PARIS this year

This celebration of joy aligns perfectly with the other key focus of this year’s edition: a format designed to enhance the visitor experience through a more fluid layout (with reduced capacity) and an even stronger emphasis on education. Because learning is always more effective when it’s engaging and fun.

United to spread the rum culture

In a context of contraction in the spirits market, rum is managing to stand out, with an offering continuously enriched by new segments (white rums, aged rums, single-plot rums, vintage rums, spiced rums, etc.) and new tasting experiences.

If Carnival brings together, in a festive spirit, communities with different cultures from the four corners of the world, RHUM FEST PARIS gathers professionals and private individuals (sometimes from the other side of the world) to present or discover what is new in cane-based spirits.

Agave spirits open-minded

A benchmark event for the sector to follow market developments, RHUM FEST PARIS has always welcomed new origins and new production methods with open arms. Rum, cachaça and agave spirits RHUM FEST is becoming the melting pot of Caribbean and Latin American beverages.

Enhance teaching-focused experience

RHUM FEST, which has always emphasized this point, continues to enhance the educational experience of the festival through the implementation of guided and digital tours (terroirs, styles, innovations, etc.).

The VIP Area gaining momentum

This exclusive tasting area has been reorganized with two themed tasting bars and the Petits Salons : small discussion areas where VIPs will present their exclusive offerings to visitors. This year, the VIP Selection invites cellar masters to choose the vintages they wish to share with discerning tasters. Coordinated by journalist, blogger, and connoisseur Laurent Cuvier, this space will also host rum and chocolate workshops led by Christian de Montaguère, as well as other experiences currently in preparation.

Masterclasses and roundtables

The masterclasses remain a highlight of the exchange between producers and the public. They will be accompanied by round tables moderated by Fabien Humbert (Rumporter) to discuss current topics.

NEW : RHUM WEEK, APRIL 14–20 !

RHUM FEST PARIS is formalizing the “off” events and will this year promote the activities taking place from April 14 to 20, centered on cane-based spirits and now also agave spirits. Masterclasses, product launches, and cocktail evenings at the “Relais du Rhum” will be an integral part of the RHUM FEST PARIS program, extending the festival experience.

The must-sees

As every year, the Central Bar will be serving cocktails, and the “Comptoir des Innovations” will be offering new and exclusive products to discover. The Food Court, the festival’s gourmet destination, will welcome eight food trucks offering a variety of cuisines, including Afro-Caribbean, Mexican, Cuban, and Breton, in an atmosphere that is as friendly as ever.

The rhum fest awards evolve

Composed of an international jury, Rhum Fest Awards is a competition that recognizes excellence in sugarcane spirits.

Starting with this edition, the evaluation process will be digitized to provide jurors with a seamless tasting experience and participants with constructive feedback. More info can be found here.
