Hotel room list | Beautiful and spectacular hotel rooms

Still busy figuring out where you want to go on holiday and would you like to sleep at a special place? That’s possible, the last couple of years we spotted many examples of special themed hotel rooms. We created a list of examples of beautiful and special hotel rooms. Some examples from the Netherlands, like sleeping in a Van Gogh painting, at the Pier of Scheveningen, in a suite with blow ups of etchings by Rembrandt, in a crane or an airplane. Abroad you can also sleep in a port barrel, in igloos or underwater. Have you ever slept in an spectacular hotel room, or do you work in a hotel with such hotel rooms? Caffè Torino | First pop up Negroni bar in Belgium

Last week the first pop-up Negroni bar in Antwerp, Belgium opened. From the 30^th of March until the 23th of April, you can enjoy this cocktail that consists of gin, vermouth and Campari in Martini Caffè Torino. Caffè Torino, previously opened the first pop-up vermoutbar in Belgium at the Oude Beestenmarkt in Ghent. They will only serve Negroni’s at this pop-up bar. read more

Poesiat & Kater | Beer&Bite tasting at one of the former biggest breweries in the Netherlands

Van Vollenhoven’s beer brewery ‘De Gekroonde Valk’ used to be the biggest brewery in the Netherlands. Last month, Van Vollenhoven’s’ successor opened in Amsterdam: brewery and tasting room Poesiat & Kater. The traditional and historic beers from Van Vollenhoven will be served here as well as a selection of Poesiat & Kater’s own developed beers. The food on the menu is tailored to the beers which makes it an interesting place for those who love beer and food-combinations, a small ‘Beer&Bite’ tasting is also a fun option.    read more

Wiedewietsaus | Biologic cannabis sauce

The Ter Marsch & Co pop-up burger bar in Amsterdam exists one year, time to celebrate! To do so, a special burger and fries sauce called ‘Wiedewietsaus’ has been developed. The biologic cannabis-infused mayonnaise is an ode to the Dutch and Amsterdam weed culture. The Wiedewietsaus is served in three hospitality businesses of the Ter Marsch family. This April Fools’ Day joke was so successful that they will be selling the Wiedewietsauce as from the end of this month.  read more

Tito’s Handmade Vodka | World’s fastest-growing vodka brand

Last week the official launch of Tito’s Handmade Vodka took place in the Netherlands. This American brand was last year’s fastest-growing vodka brand in the world with a growth percentage of 64.5%. The vodka is 100% gluten-free and is made of corn, consists 40% alcohol and doesn’t have any added sugar or gelatine. That’s why it’s pure vodka. read more

Tunes Bar | Around the world in 11 cocktails

This week, the first edition of the Amsterdam Cocktail Week started and a ‘must see’ is the Tunes Bar at the Conservatorium Hotel. Last week they launched Tunes Around The World, a tantalizing trip around the world in eleven exciting cocktail & foodpairings.
