This mini-bar by T.T. Tunks is not only unique because it’s easy to move, but beside the fridge it’s equipped with a coffeemachine and a separate drawer for cigars. This piece of luxury cost approximately € 12.000, -.

The Spanish restaurant chain Fresc Co. offers guests the opportunity to practice their English while they’re dining out. Fresc Co. owns 40 restaurants in 11 Spanish cities, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and Mediterranean dishes. The teachers focus on everyday language and work situations in sessions that last two hours. In this way, the restaurant chain gives something back to their guests in these difficult economic times.
As a tribute to the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s’ ‘Alice in Wonderland’ macaroon-maker Ladurée has turned their corner in Hausman Printemps departmentstore in Paris into a wonderland. There is a large teapot and there are posters with various characters from the film. There is also a special ‘Alice in Wonderland’ box with macarons for sale.
The former maritime school in Delfshaven has been turned into a trendy ‘knowledge, art and culture factory’ where people go out, work, eat and drink, meet and a daycare for children is available. With a grand café and restaurant, they do address both people who work in “The Machinist” as the inhabitants of Delfshaven and beyond. “The Machinist” opened March 7th.
McDonald’s has a new burger since March 2nd: The Dutch Deluxe. Research showed that guests increasingly value the bun, and therefore the burger has a wheatbun. Check out the ad on Youtube!

The originally from England restaurantchain Wagamama has developed its own iPhone application. This app allows guests to see where the nearest Wagamama restaurant is, look through the menu, to order meals and indicate when an order will be picked up. According to them, they are the first restaurant with its own iPhone app.
