bRoodstop is a healty fast food chain in Belgium. The owner Martine Mys-Sintobin is a foodie with a taste for healthy food and design. bRoodstop offers daily fresh sandwiches, salads and soup. The furniture is designed by Maarten van Severen.

As part of a recent ad campaign for Hellmann’s mayonaise in Brazil, recipes created to the just purchased ingredients were printed out on the store receipt. This action increased the sale of the mayonnaise to 44%.

French restaurant ‘Mon Histoire dans l’assiette’ has created a menu that is entirely free of 11 of the most common allergens (gluten, eggs, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, mustard, shellfish, celery, sesame and lupine). The name of the restaurant translates in English for ‘My story on a plate’. There is a different menu each season. As we see a lot of discussion between the chefs on, for example Twitter, about what to cook for those with a food allergy, maybe they can visit the restaurant in Lyon this summer for inspiration.
