To create awareness about the ways there are to responsibly consume and serve fish, crustaceans and shellfish, NIOZ and chef Jef Schuur from the Michelin-starred restaurant Bij Jef will receive no less than 100 chefs on Texel for the SEASONALITY symposium.

Sunday Homes at El Cosmico | A 3D printed hotel in Marfa Texas
March 2023 hotelier Liz Lambert announced the arrival of ‘Sunday Homes at El Cosmico’. A 3D printed hotel and homes on the camping grounds of ‘El Cosmico’ in Marfa, Texas. A collaboration with architects BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group and ICON, which specialises in advanced building technologies and is a pioneer in large-scale 3D printing. In much of the press, the plans are described as if it were designed for on the moon and Mars. This is because ICON also has a contract with NASA for the first interplanetary houses there.
Lagerwal | Modern beer garden in Amsterdam Noord
Opening – On May 17, the new hotspot Lagerwal opened next to restaurant Helling 7 in Amsterdam Noord. Just three minutes by bike from the NDSM wharf, you will find a unique combination of a modern beer garden with one of Amsterdam’s largest terraces. Located by the water with breath-taking views over the city, visitors can enjoy sunsets, a large selection of locally brewed beers and small dishes on open fire in collaboration with Helling 7.
