Ingka Centres (part of the Ingka Group, which also includes IKEA Retail and Ingka Investments) has recently announced its ambitious, plant-forward food hall Saluhall in San Francisco. This project is in collaboration with KERB, the renowned London food hall operator and small business incubator, and Claus Meyer, co-founder of the hugely-influential New Nordic Cuisine movement and entrepreneur behind multiple global community-focused culinary schools.

We are curious to see when the first plant-forward (80% plant-based) food hall will open in an IKEA in the Netherlands!

Today is the grand opening of the new restaurant of Love.Life in Culver City, California. It was time to take his restaurant in Rotterdam-Zuid to the next level. “My great passion will always be creating tantalising burgers. But I remain a chef at heart. I missed the diversity in my menu.” After four years of successfully serving his famous burgers at Diego’s Burgers restaurant, the burger king decided it was time for a change: “We have redesigned the interior and given it a mature and timeless look. We also enriched the menu with modern dishes such as a salmon ceviche and updated the wine list. But of course, burgers will also retain a place on the menu.”
