This week, amongst others about self-guided tours at the Louvre, narrated by Beyoncé and Jay-Z and ‘Pool is Cool’ in Brussels, they try to re-introduce open air swimming here. With the current heatwave in Northern Europe we sympathize with them! And a set menu yakitori counter from Tokyo (Torishiki, * Michelin star) will be opening in New York in 2019. Just guess how much you have to pay for chicken skewers here! Gold leaf ice cream has been spotted in London as well!

This week, amongst others about functional candy, staying overnight at temples in Japan or Korea and creamart. Neighboring the Audemars Piguet Museum, the Hotel des Horlogers is seamlessly integrated into the smooth topography of the scenic Vallée de Joux. Five zigzagging room slabs expand into a gently sloping exterior path, leading directly to the museum and local ski trails. Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piquet invited the famed Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) to create their luxurious ski hotel. BIG also designed the museum. The hotel will include about 50 hotel rooms.

The Highway Gallery is an innovative project developed by the Louvre Abu Dhabi in celebration of the United Arab Emirates Innovation month. It has been created to reinforce art’s role in elevating everyday life into something beautiful and memorable. The Highway Gallery which showcases 10 magnificent artworks is located alongside the E11 or Sheikh Zayed Road from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. The masterpieces on display in giant 8×6 meter frames are introduced at 3 radio stations. The 10 artworks are just an example, to see them in person you need to visit the museum. read more
