The Amsterdam Okura Hotel developed an app for her guests. Through this app, the guests can contact the concierge, read the blog of Onno Kokmeijer (the chef of the restaurant), can collect suggestions for city trips en can even compose a jetlag program. This app is free of charge and available in the Apple iTunes store. A nice example of increasing the hotel service!

That’s why McDonald’ss introduces the ordering terminal. You can order a meal and pay at the terminal. It saves a little time per customer, some people say that they are sad to see their personal service leave.

The new (yet to be opened) Danish hotel Bella Sky Comwell created a floor specially for female guests. The rooms are women friendly, by making the bathrooms more feminin and giving the rooms a make-up table and a full length mirror. Also the electronics are easier to use.
