From the 25th to the 31st of October the second edition of the Fair Trade restaurant week will be held. This week is an initiative of the sustainable culinary guide “Puur! Uit eten” and the Max Havelaar Foundation. The goal? Promotion for the consumption of Fairtrade-products in the hospitality industry.

A Safeway-supermarket has taken the streetscape into account, to create a garage behind the building. Also, the supermarket is located on the topfloor of the 2-story building, so that on streetlevel, the building accommodates local suppliers. Nice initiative! Which entrepreneur provides a platform for local suppliers?
