Boom Boom printed 26 good deeds on  small cards (for example buy a cup of coffee for a stranger). The idea is to pass these cards to friends or strangers. Through the site, people can share their experiences through pictures and videos. The card can also be followed through the site to track how many times the card is forwarded.

 

Ice Hotel in Quebec

 Recently the only ice hotel in North-America opened in Canada. 15,000 tons of snow and 500 tons of ice were needed to build the Ice Hotel in Quebec. The hotel has 36 rooms and is only open until April.

This project gives clubowners the ability to quickly and easily request exemption from the curfew via textmessages. Businessowners may request to their company to keep open until 06:00 ten times a year via textmessages, instead of a written permision two weeks in advance.

‘Relay Rides’ calls itself as the first company which offers “person-to-person car-sharing offers. The website allows people with cars to earn money by lending it to other people. Car owners may register through the website, then a mechanic will install a chip so that tenants can easily borrow the car keys without having to ask. Guests are offered day and night access to the entire museum, a private butler and can sleep in a work of art. The Revolving Hotel Room consists of three rotating discs a wardrobe, a desk and chairs and a bed wearing. A fourth disc bears the very slowly rotating different disks

A fishing boat from the ’50s has been transformed into a “Spaboot”. There is a Turkish Hammam (bath, shower and heated floor) and a Zen Lounge with fireplace, sauna and panoramic views. With a number of bedrooms and a restaurant, guests are provided a good weekend.

Truck at NYC Restaurantweek

During NYC Restaurant Week in 2010 for the first time a truck is used. The truck will be used between the 25th and 29th of January and from the first of February to the 5th.  The truck will drive through Manhattan during lunch and people in busy locations will be offered a cup of soup. Each day a different restaurant will provide the soup. Via twitter and www.nycgo.com/restaurantweek, people can track where the truck will be located.
