In the Classical Baby Grand hotel in Greece are 10 artist hired to custom-decorated 55 rooms with their signature looks. The artists came from various fields of urban art including graffiti, design, and illustration. The hotel is able to upgrade its image to being perceived as a boutique-luxury hotel. Also, a nice example of collaboration and co-creation.
The beer brand Guinness created beer glasses with QR-codes which can only be seen with dark Guinness beer. By scanning the QR-code, you automatically leave messages on your Twitter and Facebook page, you check in on Foursquare and download coupons. Smart advertising campaign!

The folks at Brooklyn-based design agency PENSA! have created a new concept that allows you to get your charge on outdoors. Aptly named ‘Street Charge’, the idea is to attach a thin structure to existing street infrastructure such as street signs, powered by photovoltaic cells and batteries, allowing passersby to plug in their digital toys with a USB cable.
