The owners of restaurant La Villa in Paris let Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Bossier design their new luxury restaurant. They applied different styles. The various spaces continue to surprise.
Student Stephanie Beneteau created a packaging for instant soup that is reminiscent to a chocolate bar. Instead of powder they chose a solid form, which are packed as bars.
Trendy cocktailforks referring to the city on stilts: Amsterdam. The design shows four houses with typically traditional Amsterdam facades on a cocktail fork. The fork is made of durable stainless steel (metallic), and is hygienic and dishwasher safe.
In India the most luxurious train ever, the Maharajas Express, made her first trip. The train can accommodate 84 passengers and is equipped to all comfort. Amongst others, the train has two restaurants, a bar and a lounge room. The suites are equipped with plasma tv’s and there are even suites with a private bathroom. The price for one night is a little under $800 per night.
This funny board can not only be linked together, but is also useful for serving snacks.

Philips Design has developed tableware, in collaboration with the Spanish restaurant Arzak, that responds to food with light.
Smart Energy Glass by Peer+ is designed to save energy and to generate electricity. The amount of light and transparency of the glass can be set, whicih saves energy. For example in the summer the glass turns darker, making it less hot inside and an airconditioning is no longer required.
Because of the recession people travel less. Destination Dinners responds to that by bringing the cuisine of different countries from all over the world to consumers. The packages of destination dinners include all ingredients to enjoy the cuisine from for example Lebanon, Japan and Jamaica at home.
