Swedish student Lena Louise Meyer designed a table on which vegetables grow. The Sprout Table combines traditional craft with a modern design, is eco-friendly and brings enviromental growth in your house.

Product designer Arvid Häusser designed a porcelain espressomachine, because porcelain withstands high temperatures and does not affect the taste of coffee. Häusser is a student at the Bauhaus University in Weimar.

Giorgio Armani opened a wine bar on the top floor of their Armani Ginza Tower in Tokyo. Previously it was a private floor, but is now a publicly accessable wine lounge. They hope to introduce the Italian cuisine from the restaurant on the floor beneath to the Japanese shoppers. Guests can choose between 300 wines.
Stable Table is a table that automatically adjust the table legs to the surface. The mechanical system inside the pillar is connected to the table legs. No wobbling tables anymore! Nice for in a restaurant. The table is nominated for the Innovation Award during Hotelympia February 26th- March 1st in London.

The Cheetah Generation is a group of new generation leaders around the world. They create innovative ideas for new sustainable ways. NCDO organises “Battle of the Cheetahs” (Netherlands) a competition for five teams (60 young proffesionals) to find solutions for fair and sustainable food. Coaches from business, science and NGO will guide the groups to develop ideas within six weeks.

At the Stockholm Furniture Fair the Share Portable Park Chair was presented by designstudio Thomas Bernstrand’s (Stockholm). It is a combination between a public bench and a shopping cart. Like a shopping cart, there must be a coin ins to get a chair released from the chain.
