Zwolle (city in the Netherlands) skatingcanal committee organizes, together with local hospitality entre peneurs a skating event on February 11th. Participating companies provide catering posts next to the stamp posts, which are along the route, and a terrace which is placed on ice. Participating in the skating event is free.
Fletcher Hotels (Netherlands) organised a kiss action for Valentine’s Day. Couples can win a free dinner if they kiss for exactly 30 seconds. The action will be hold in all 51 Fletcher Hotels.
Kwalitaria (fasfood restaurant in the Netherlands) serves a Valentine Burger since this week. The burger is heart shaped which two people can share. The burger is made of 100% beef, mozzarella and honey, and is available until February 14.
Designer Sean Click came up with the ‘sead bomb’ for MC Donald’s. Eschscholzia californica (the state flower of California) is according to the law illegal to remove, so MC Donald’s placed flowers in the shape of their logo in landfields. Because the removal of these flowers is illegal, land owners have to leave them there or plant around the logo so it isn’t visible.
Joseph Company International is planning to launch, end March/begin April in the US, a self-cooling soda can. On the bottom of the Chill Can a button is located, once you press the button the can cools off. The can remains cool 30 minutes longer than a normal can does. Earlier we wrote about the Hot Booster, a selfheating soup.
Mastercard, Hoyts (cinema) and the Commonwealth Bank in Australia designed in cooperation the QkR app. With this app people can order food from their seats in Hoyts. Watch the video to see how it works!
Pink or Red Velvet chocolate milk is a fun idea for Valentine’s Day! For two glasses, mix milk with chocolate chips in a pan. Add 2/3 drops of red food coloring for red velvet chocolate milk and add two tablespoons of strawberry syrup for pink chocolate milk. To complete the look add some whipped cream.
