In 2008 we saw serveral organized events on Twitter, like a winetasting, organized by Bin Ends Wine in the United States. Three weeks in advance you have to order the wine, before participating on the winetasting. Nowadays more and more events are organized on Twitter, like Twiners (dinners), Twirrels (drinks) and Tweetjams.

In August 2007 we wrote about the Wrangler laundry service at Lowlands Festival. Visitors could wash their dirty clothes for free and were notified by text message when the job was done. With a bright new festival season approaching, we are curious who will provide a clear spark of fressness at the festivals this year!
Inspiration from September 2007 – Pay by text message

One of the trends we wrote about in September 2007, was ordering food by text message. It was possible to order and pay at 500 restaurants with a Gomobo account without standing in line. Nowadays there are interesting alternatives available on the iPhone. You can order and pay with the (Dutch) MyOrder app.
