In honor of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary, Brewery – Brouwerij ‘t IJ is launching a special variant of their iconic IJwit called: ‘Mokums Overdreven IJwit’. In love as the brewery is with its city, to which it has been connected for 40 years, it exaggerated considerably with Mokum’s favorite beer. “With 7.50% alcohol and extra additions of the ingredients that make IJwit so characteristic, this is a beer that has just a little too much of everything, because that’s what we love in Amsterdam.”

On Oct. 27, 2025, Amsterdam will celebrate its 750th anniversary and from October 2024 it will be celebrated with such events as an opening concert at the Ziggo Dome, The Great Amsterdam Quiz and Feest op de Ring A10.
