Every day, we spot fun and inspiring new concepts. This week, the city of Oegstgeest welcomes a new Loetje! A fresh COBRA location opens in Antwerp: COBRA HOUSE – not a copy, but a new chapter! And Nova Hotel Amsterdam proudly takes ownership of its historic building and a new generation takes over the management.
On October 30, Loetje will open its 38th location at the Klinkenbergerplas in Oegstgeest, featuring a warm interior, views over the water, and their familiar menu. COBRA HOUSE will open a new location in Antwerp on October 12, as the second location of the Antwerp-based COBRA concept. After thirty years of operation, Nova Hotel Amsterdam is now fully owned by the family-run B.K.A. Groep, the owners Marcel and Lily Berendsen also transferred the management to son Olivier Berendsen for further development and sustainability.

A renovation of Friethuys Schaijk and in Leiden, preparations are in full swing for the opening of a Spaghetteria location.
Bouillon d’Amsterdam in the Hotel Die Port van Cleve promises high-quality food at a fair price! With dishes at affordable prices (€3 to €16), the owners aim to appeal to a big audience. Friethuys Schaijk, owned by Bart Bernsen and Luuk Vos, was renovated in three weeks and has a fresh, contemporary design for a traditional snack bar. And in Leiden, a new Spaghetteria location will open at Lange Mare 40, in October.

On Thursday, September 18, two renovated hotels at the Leuvehaven in Rotterdam were officially opened: DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre and Haven Hotel Rotterdam, Curio Collection by Hilton. Both are located directly on the Maas River with views of the Erasmus Bridge and within walking distance of iconic city highlights such as the Markthal, the Maritime Museum, and Kop van Zuid. The hotels are directly connected but each offers its own distinctive experience.
