They received over 1,300 entries, but the mini microwave was proclaimed to be the winner. Students often have a small budget, New York student Michelle DeCurtis changed this problem into a challenge. She has created many creative projects from reclaimed and upcycled materials. Her bed made of an old fence is displayed at the New York Maker Faire. Perhaps an idea for sustainable entrepreneurs?
