STOYN Ice Cream is an unique design experiment that brought together 10 of the most iconic figures in world culture and embodied their images into ice cream. For example: Donald Duck, Marilyn Monroe, Mickey Mouse and Mario – their strength, character and talent were materializes in organic tastes of ice cream STOYN, for example mate with rum (Che Guevara) – every taste reflects the role of these individuals in the global culture.
The bar concept of Happy Drinks is initiated by Pierre Wind and the Trimbos institute. There are various recipes for alcohol free cocktails on the website of happydrinks.nl, categorized in ‘Strength’, ‘Social’, ‘Love’ and ‘Strange’. The inspiration for this initiative came after the many cases of binge drinking and the scarse offer of alcohol free drinks in the hospitality and leisure industry.

Bottom line: Panera Bread created the Panera foundation and after 1 year Shaich estimates that about 20% of visitors to the cafes leave more than the suggested amount, 20% leave less and 60% leave the suggested donation. On average, each cafe serves 3,500 to 4,000 customers per week and generates about 75-80% of the retail value of the food.

This system gives tap water the quality of pure and filtered water, which will be served in bottles of Swedish Design, available in still and sparking. Companies in the hospitality pay a fixed price per month for the system.

This event has come over from the United States and refers to ‘slideshows’ and ‘potlucks’; watching photo’s while eating homemade dinners. In June, the first Slideluck Potshow took place in Amsterdam. Over 200 people showed interest. The next event will take place in October.
