With all that misery in the world, sometimes we really need some fun. The simple idea to put a table with a megaphone in the middle of the streets brings some joy into the streets. Just say hello to your friends or family or just to let the street hear your talents.
The Ride is a bus that is transformed to a driving theatre in New York. The visitors sit sideways at the driving direction and the street is the stage. The driving bus is equipped with hi-tech sound and light and makes a 75 minute tour through Manhattan.

Recently a tiramisu-shop opened in Manhattan, which is an answer to the current trend in Italy where they are experimenting with different tastes of tiramisu. At Dolce Vizio, tiramisu-lovers can choose of six different tastes from limoncello to nutella. But it is possible as well to compose your own taste by choosing of several sauces and toppings.
On Monday the 12th of December there is a lecture for everyone who wants to learn more about tea. The lecture is organized by Teest and Ann Vansteenkiste will explain everything from the history and production to the making of a perfect cup of tea. Check the video (Dutch).
The Dutch Louise van der Veld will releave us from the boring smoke detectors. Her Chick-a-Dee design is a real eye catcher. Our guess is that this bird won’t sing a cheery tune when it’s on fire.
ASDA supermarket chain, known from the British Walmart, started an experiment by selling take-away dishes of local restaurants. These are dishes of the Arabic, Pakistani and Indian kitchen. Last spring, the ASDA started a cooperation with the restaurant chain Zouk, since then the sales are tripled. Next year, this experiment will be extended to London.
