The PlantLab in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, succeeded in cultivating the first fruit and vegetables without daylight use. PlantLab did cultivate cucumbers, strawberries, corn, beans and tomatoes by making use of only red and blue LED lights. This opens options to grow these products at your restaurant and always have super fresh cucumbers, strawberries etc. available.
