Entrepreneur Island Blueseed

‘Blueseed’ is co-founded by Max Marti, Dario Mutabdzija and lead by Peter Thiel. The floating city will be located in international waters of the Silicon Valley and is especially designed for starting entrepreneurs. The Blueseed project offers living space, work space and entertaiment facilities to foreign start-ups. The goal is that the Blue Seed opens in the 3rd quarter of 2013. Hotelier Carlos Couturier has converted a water purification into a 19th-century hotel. The hotel has a 30 meter pool. The edges of the pool been of glass, that gives a nice effect and view.

Emart in South-Korea has found a way to attract more customers during lunch. Between 12 am and 1 pm they make a QR-code becomes visible by the sunlight. The consumer that schans the Sunny Sale QR-code will receive a voucher of 12 euros for home products. Sales increased by 25 percent during lunch.

The Water Discus Hotel in Dubai is a hotel that is partially located under water. The 21 rooms are below the surface of the sea. The windows of the rooms are high, so you have a good view of the sea life. The restaurant, spa and reception are above the waterline. It’s unknown when the hotel opens.

The two French inventors Phillipe Starck and David Edwards have developed a spray that makes you temporarily drunk. To stimulate your brain you need only 0,075 ml of the ‘Wahh Quantum Sensations’. The drunkenness you get then is not a state but more a emotion, this make you feel light headed but you don’t lose your senses. A spray costs 20 euros and sprays 21 times.
