Tapas made from Flemisch local products served with original Belgian beer, the so called ‘hoppas’. With the introduction of this typical Flemisch product the inventors, catering consultancy Dolce Far Tutto, wholesaler ISPC and brewery Duvel Moortgat lead the way for the Taste Week in November.

This month Bar Pepito opened, London’s first sherrybar. The owner’s mission: convert the English to drinking sherry. They serve several varieties of sherry, sherry cocktails and beer. Snacks are served as well.

A new burger that is inspired by old-fashioned Frisian treats like peat smoked Frisian dry sausage, Beerenburg, Frisian “nagel”cheese, orange cake, sugarbread and Frisian Dumkes (anise cookies).

Butch Bakery made cupcakes especially for men. Not only do the cupcakes look more masculin, they also adjusted the flavours. There are cupcakes that taste like rum & coke, while others taste like beer.

Vin Service is a delivery service in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, for chilled beer, wine, soft drinks, chips and liquor. They also rent out party tents, BBQ’s and DVD players. They are open from Wednesday through Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 and Sunday from 8:00 p.m. to 0:00. To create name recognition, they did most of their promotion through the social network Hyves.
