To mark International Women\u2019s Day 2026, Omber is putting female winemakers in the spotlight. Not only on this special day, but throughout the year the restaurant supports talented female winemakers who shape the sector with their vision and craftsmanship.<\/p>\n

The wine list consists largely of wines made by women. Guests who take a seat and order a glass are therefore not only choosing quality but are also supporting female creativity and leadership in a traditionally male-dominated profession.<\/p>\n

To celebrate International Women\u2019s Day 2026, \u00a0restaurant Omber once again highlights these female makers. The wine list features wines from, among others, four estates of Marchesi Antinori<\/a>, where female winemakers and oenologists play a central role. From a Clos Martinet by Sara P\u00e9rez<\/a> (Priorat, Spain) to a Lapostolle<\/a> crafted by winemakers Andrea Le\u00f3n and Paola Mu\u00f1oz (Colchagua Valley, Chile), these women know exactly how to create exceptional wines.<\/p>\n

Restaurant Omber | Rembrandt\u2019s muse<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With its selection, restaurant Omber demonstrates how women are shaping the future of wine today. The wine list is inspired by Saskia van Uylenburgh<\/a>, muse and first wife of Rembrandt van Rijn, creating a subtle link with the rich history of the Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam Hotel. The famous painting \u2018The Night Watch\u2019 hung here for more than seventy years, and a replica can still be found at the hotel today.<\/p>\n

This connection forms a natural thread throughout the wine list. Saskia symbolizes the bridge between art, inspiration and female strength.<\/p>\n

Art on the plate and in your glass<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The wine selection is complemented by the \u2018Masterpiece\u2019 or \u2018Golden Age\u2019 menu by chef Jose Juan Arias Senes<\/a>, where each dish is presented as a work of art, just as the name suggests. From refined amuse-bouches to carefully composed main courses and desserts, every element reflects Rembrandt\u2019s masterful use of light, colour and texture.<\/p>\n
