This Valentine\u2019s week, Montblanc and Claridge\u2019s come together to celebrate the art of handwritten romance with \u2018Love Letters from London\u2019. To mark the launch of the new Meisterst\u00fcck Romeo & Juliet writing instruments, Montblanc invites everyone to put pen to paper and share heartfelt messages with the people who make life meaningful. For the first time ever, the legendary Mayfair hotel Claridge\u2019s partners with Montblanc to present \u2018Love Letters from London\u2019, appointing British artist and poet Charlie Child as Claridge\u2019s first-ever Poet-in-Residence during the week leading up to Valentine\u2019s Day (10th\u201313th February 2026).<\/p>\n

Charlie Child is named poet-in-residence at Claridge’s for Valentine’s Week<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Charlie Child<\/a> will take up residence each afternoon in Claridge\u2019s iconic Art Deco lobby, transforming the space into a Poet\u2019s Corner. Here, he will compose unique, witty and deeply personal love notes, written by hand and posted directly into Claridge\u2019s distinctive working letter box. Guests and visitors are also encouraged to participate by writing and sending their own letters, which will be posted free of charge throughout the week, allowing \u2018Love Letters from London\u2019 to travel anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n

Claridge\u2019s<\/a> historic letter box has quietly witnessed moments of romance and history since the hotel first opened its doors in 1856. Over the decades, it has carried some of the world\u2019s most meaningful correspondence, including declarations of love. A photograph of Audrey Hepburn, taken during a reception held in her honour at the hotel in 1953, sits above the letter box as a lasting symbol of elegance and timeless romance. For Valentine\u2019s week, it will be renamed the Claridge\u2019s & Montblanc <\/a>Love Letter Box, reinforcing the spirit of \u2018Love Letters from London\u2019.<\/p>\n

The collaboration coincides with the launch of the Montblanc Meisterst\u00fcck Romeo & Juliet Collection, inspired by one of literature\u2019s greatest love stories.
