Opening – This fall restobar Vivid<\/a> is opening its doors, a vibrant restobar in the cozy Nobelstraat in the heart of Utrecht. A welcome surprise among the cafes and student shops. Vivid will soon be the place for a good drink and snacks but also for an extensive dinner. The name Vivid says it all: it will never be boring! Halfway through the evenings on the weekend, a DJ takes over. The place turns into a place where you can dance, flirt and welcome your friends over for a drink.<\/p>\n

Fancy dining vs. being a couch potato<\/h3>\n

A good glass of wine with charcuterie before you go to the theatre? A table full of food and enjoying every last bit of it? Or joining your friends later for a cocktail? It will all be possible at Vivid. The menu consists of a range of Mediterranean dishes that you can share – if you like. Think of creamy ‘Oeuf mayonnaise’ with truffle or a surprising octopus with piquillo pepper. The interior will be an atmospheric mix of stylish and homely. With warm earthy colours such as different shades of green and terracotta that blend perfectly with materials such as wood and terrazzo.
