Amsterdam-based fine dining steakhouse restaurant MR PORTER Steakhouse, Bar & Lounge, which is part of THE ENTOURAGE GROUP, will open its doors in London in September 2024. Located at 22 Park Lane, on the former site of Trader Vic, MR PORTER’s slightly ambiguous and flavourful cuisine translates into pure and intriguing dishes. It is their fourth location after, Amsterdam, Barcelona and a pop-up in Ibiza.<\/p>\n

Design of the new location in Mayfair<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Designers Baranowitz + Kronenberg<\/a> introduce an enchanting scene at MR PORTER’s<\/a> new bastion, located in Mayfair. Inspired by the glory days of Mayfair, the designers have echoed its infamous ambiance through a sophisticated and elegant design that sets the stage for a joyous celebration in the underground space.<\/p>\n

Descending into the heart of MR PORTER is like going \u2018down the rabbit hole\u2019: a copper door at street level reveals nothing of the world that awaits behind the seamless monochrome entrance, which reveals a spiral staircase leading down. Beneath the streets of Mayfair, copper reigns supreme. The mirrors gleam with copper, and the ceiling has a soft, coppery glow. The furniture, sometimes upholstered and sometimes uncovered, has soothing colours and textures that blend beautifully with velvet and wood. Natural stone and soft lighting add to the ambience and music to high-fidelity sound. But there is more than what meets the eye in the intimate sensory space designed with a distinct character and energy that will excite your senses for an unforgettable experience.<\/p>\n

MR PORTER explores the boundaries of \u2018dinner and sinner\u2019 with a concept that artfully fuses the qualities of a modern steakhouse with the buzz of a chic lounge. Only unparalleled flavour combinations, unparalleled techniques, and products of the highest quality enter and leave the transparent kitchen. That flirty, slightly ambiguous and flavourful cuisine of MR PORTER is translated into pure yet ingenious dishes.<\/p>\n

MR PORTER’s menu combines timeless favourites with distinctive signature dishes such as the house-made focaccia, the Roast Beef Carpaccio, Avocado Carpaccio with Beluga Caviar, Jumbo Prawn salad with corn, avocado and dried chilli sauce, Taboon oven-roasted Sea Bass in Adobo, followed by classics like the Ribeye or Lady Mignon, Entrecote and – of course – the MR and MRS PORTER, signature bone-in filet, Chateaubriand and Tomahawk. And you can also enjoy desserts like the Coconut Sorbet or Popcorn Cr\u00e8me Brulee!<\/p>\n

MR PORTER’s bar offers an energetic ambiance in a sleek environment with its signature 360-degree bar, designed to encourage social interaction while guests enjoy sophisticated cocktails late into the night. The exquisite and adventurous cocktail menu is curated such that each drink is designed to excite the senses making for a total culinary cocktail experience. Signature cocktails include the LOVE POTION, a divine blend of Mastiha liqueur and rum under a cloud of candyfloss, topped with raspberry and rose foam; FRENCH TOUCH, a delight from Paris with vodka, citrus and apricot liqueur, peach and champagne.<\/p>\n
