The Berkeley hotel, perfectly nestled between bustling Knightsbridge and leafy Belgravia, will open its rooftop \u2013 usually reserved for staying guests \u2013 to all for summer 2024. The Berkeley Rooftop Bar will be open for the season from the evening of 11th July, offering the ultimate alfresco destination for Londoners to soak up sweeping sunset views over Hyde Park, whilst sitting by the glistening swimming pool. Unrivalled views of London\u2019s skyline will be complemented with a brand-new Mexican-inspired menu of PATR\u00d3N Tequila cocktails and tacos.<\/p>\n

PATR\u00d3N Tequila Colada and alcohol-free option Forest Gimlet<\/strong><\/p>\n

In collaboration with PATR\u00d3N, The Berkeley<\/a> Rooftop Bar will serve up a series of new tequila-based cocktails throughout summer. Highlights include the PATR\u00d3N Tequila<\/a> Colada, a take on the classic cocktail, replacing rum with PATR\u00d3N Reposado, paired with mango lassi, coconut cream and water, vanilla, and lime. The Ultimate Knutarita blends PATR\u00d3N Silver tequila with shiso umeshu, pine, Cointreau, lime, and spice for an aromatic twist on a margarita. For those who prefer an alcohol-free option, the Forest Gimlet, featuring Everleaf Forest aperitif, pink grapefruit soda and honey, is a refreshing option to enjoy.<\/p>\n

A trio of tacos, \u2018Taco Tuesdays\u2019, \u2018make your own\u2019 guacamole and more on the menu<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A trio of tacos and a \u2018make your own\u2019 guacamole are highlights of the new menu. Dishes include smoked salt marsh lamb shoulder with pickled jalapeno and saffron aioli in a blue corn taco; barbeque jack fruit with sweet Romano peppers, coconut, and coriander cream in a white corn taco; and crispy Dover sole with charred sweetcorn, mojo emulsion in an avocado taco. On \u2018Taco Tuesdays\u2019 there will be a fourth \u2018secret\u2019 off-menu option, which is available for one night only and changes each week. Guests will also be able to make their own guacamole, starting with a base of fresh smashed avocado, and adding toppings including spring onion, chilli, garlic, tomato, coriander, toasted seeds, and lime, to dip crunchy house-made tortillas. As a sweet treat in the sun, The Berkeley rooftop soft serve machine will dispense a selection of changing ice cream flavours throughout the season, complete with perfectly piped sunglass biscuits on the side.<\/p>\n

The Berkeley Rooftop Bar <\/strong><\/h3>\n

To reach the space, guests will be whisked up to the Berkeley Rooftop Bar by lift, discovering a sun-bathed mural by artist Chiara Perano<\/a> along the way, inspired by the blues of the pool and greens of the park. Once outside, staggering views of the red brick of Knightsbridge, the charming crescents of Belgravia and the vast scale of Hyde Park\u2019s treetops await. Visitors can book a table or nab a striped lounger \u2013 drink in hand \u2013 to enjoy this space normally reserved exclusively for guests of The Berkeley.<\/p>\n

The Berkeley Rooftop Bar<\/a> will open to all from 11th July 2024. Reservations lines are now open.\u00a0 Tables and sun loungers may be booked, and limited spaces will be available for walk ins.\u00a0 The Berkeley Rooftop Bar will open Tuesday \u2013 Saturday, 7:30pm to 11pm, with last sitting at 9.30pm.<\/p>\n
