Not only will Amsterdammers sleep in the city’s finest hotels for a special price, they can also go to exclusive parties, workshops and special dinners on 13 & 14 January. The predominant theme this year is ‘fashion’.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The schedule<\/h3>\n

The programme consists of a series of fashion cocktails, late-night fashion brunches and other fashion parties. During the premiere of LuminAir’s CHANDON Rooftop Movie Nights, the iconic fashion film A Devil Wears Prada will be screened. And of course, with fashion comes champagne. A suite at Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park features a glamorous Mo\u00ebt & Chandon Suite Experience. There is also a special champagne pairing in The Champagne Room at Krasnapolsky.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Workshop etching or sake making<\/h3>\n

Some hotels also organise workshops. For instance, hotel bar Barbue will teach you to shake and stir Argentinian cocktails and you can make a Rembrandt etch at Tivoli Doelen Hotel. At Okura, you will learn how to make pastries or taste sake. On Sunday, fitness enthusiasts can join a yoga class at Hotel Jakarta’s Bakery Wester, with breakfast as a reward.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

AI art and Rembrandt cocktails<\/h3>\n

Culture lovers are also in for a treat. They can go to an exhibition by AI artist No\u00eblle van Dijk at Nhow Amsterdam RAI, Cocktails & Poetry by hotel bar The Tailor, a street art party at art’otel or take part in a Rembrandt walk through the city that ends at the Pulitzer bar, which appropriately serves Rembrandt cocktails. All weekend, participants can visit the Museum Rembrandthuis for free.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Butcher’s shop Vermeer<\/h3>\n

Besides late-night brunches at INK Hotel and Kimpton De Witt, there are also several dinners. For example, Amsterdam’s vegetable chef Chris Naylor of Restaurant Vermeer is opening a Slagerij (Butcher Shop) especially for this weekend, exclusively serving meat dishes with Kesbeke’s pickles as the only vegetables and cocktails by Fever-Tree. Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky delves into the past and serves the famous Mathilde Pancake, which was conceived by Mr Krasnapolsky’s sister-in-law. Park Plaza Victoria joins hands with record shop Concerto and brings a real Dinner Show.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Late Night Disco Bingo<\/h3>\n

There will be dancing this year too. For example, at the sky bar Malabar, at Hotel Jakarta’s pool party, or at the Late Night Disco Bingo at the new The Hoxton, Lloyd Amsterdam. There are many small-scale events this year with a limited number of spots available.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mastercard is for the fourth time main partner of the hotel festival, which has been organised since 2013.
