The four-star BANKS Antwerp, located in the historic heart of the city, is the latest addition to the international hotel company. With its quirky character and unique location, the hotel fits perfectly within the collection. Carlton takes over both ownership and day-to-day operations. After fifteen years, owners Carla Bartels and Daan Terlingen hand over the baton on July 1. That day Roelof Meijering will start as hotel manager in Antwerp. BANKS Antwerp is the second hotel of the Carlton Hotel Collection in Belgium, bringing the total number of hotels to thirteen.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>2 minutes read<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Inspiring mix within BANKS Antwerp | Hospitality, art &amp; fashion<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/banksantwerp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BANKS Antwerp<\/a>, on the corner of Steenhouwersvest, is located in the trendy Fashion District of the city; the hip shopping area of Antwerp, with an inspiring mix of exclusive designer shops, vintage shops, galleries and of course cafes and restaurants. The themes of fashion and art also occupy a prominent place within the walls of BANKS, including changing exhibitions by mostly young artists. Of course we do this with respect for the existing concept.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Carlton Hotel Collection<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Carlton Hotel Collection currently consists of thirteen four-star hotels, seven of which are in the Netherlands, four in Great Britain and two in Belgium. The hotels are owned by Carlton Hotel Collection in terms of both operation and real estate. Each hotel is run by a passionate team led by the General Manager who manages the hotel as an entrepreneur. Carlton therefore distinguishes itself not only in diversity, but also in ambiance: personal, warm and hospitable.
